A deliberately sequenced family
Two products today. A whole conviction behind every one that follows.
These are the first two products in a deliberately sequenced family. Each new product will continue to apply the same conviction: the tools we put in classrooms should reflect the best of teaching — trust, judgment, and care — and they should make the routines of school quieter, fairer, and more respectful of student time. Every product in the Boomerang Classroom family is informed by direct, current classroom experience and the philosophy that comes from spending decades inside schools.

Why now
- Teacher-built isn’t a tagline — it’s the moat. Boomerang is built by a working educator running the routines the product supports.
- Privacy-first by design. No student surveillance, no data resale. Aligned with FERPA, COPPA, and state student-data privacy laws.
- A connected family, not a single feature. Boomerang Pass, Boomerang Projects, and Boomerang Progress are designed to share a single trust model and a single student record.
- A real go-to-market. Beginning with the founder’s own school and network, expanding through department chairs, AP coordinators, and instructional leaders.
The conviction, in their own words
“The tools we put in classrooms should reflect the best of teaching — trust, judgment, and care.”
Every Boomerang product is built and gated against the same six principles — teacher judgment is the product, student work belongs to the student, structure protects freedom, conversation before consequence, privacy by design, and non-generative AI only. Read the full Why →
